Giunti announce new learning content management platform with strong emphasis on standards

Italian publisher Giunti Interactive Labs have announced a new learning content management system (LCMS) conforming to IMS, SCORM, and other specifications.

The Learn eXact platform consists of tools for packaging, storing, and delivering content:

  • eXact Packager imports and exports content in IMS QTI, IMS Content Packaging, AICC, Microsoft LRN and SCORM formats.
  • eXact Siter provides enrolment services using IMS Enterprise.
  • eXact Glove (General Learning Objects Viewing Environment) delivers content to the learner.
  • eXact Tracer provides learner tracking using the AICC/SCORM usage model.
  • eXact Lobster (Learning Objects Storage Repository) is an XML repository of objects that implements DCOM and SOAP for remote querying.

For more information, visit the Giunti Interactive Labs website.
