The Learning Lab at the University of Wolverhampton has completed a deal to establish an eLearning laboratory in partnership with the National Guard Bureau and ADL, the Advanced Distributed Learning Network responsible for the SCORM specification.

The laboratory will enable collaboration on creating sharable content using the SCORM specification, designed for the US Department of Defence to allow training materials to be shared by different forces.

ADL also has plans for the laboratory to conduct a UK "plugfest" enabling vendors to test their products' interoperability using SCORM.

This initiative is the first co-laboratory partnership ADL has undertaken outside the North American continent.
