SCORM article clarification (my error)

Posted on August 05 2002 by Mark Oehlert in reponse to Experts question SCORM's pedagogic value

All: I do want to make CLEAR what I did not before - I have NO knowledge that the reporter leaving the magazine and the magazine ceasing its print run (it continues online) have ANY CONNECTION WHATSOEVER to the SCORM article. I offered that as context in conjunction with the error corrections offered by the editor and taken up by Thor for what I feel was/is a troubled article. While I agree with and applaud the steps the editor has taken to correct the errors Thor felt were evident in his quotes - I still feel PERSONALLY that this was a hatchet job and as such obscures and makes more difficult a meaningful conversation on the place of standards in e-learning. So, my apologies for the confusion. If anyone has any other concerns/questions, please feel free to contact me. V/R Mark Oehlert Deputy Director for Communications, ADL Co-Lab 1901 N.
