Aspen Content Development Server

---
Directory / Click2Learn / Aspen Content Development Server

Aspen comprises three components; a content development server, a learning content management system, and a learning management system. According to Click2Learn, the components are "... are standards-compliant, and can be used independently or together..."

"Aspen Content Development Server supports the SCORM, AICC, IMS, and XML standards. Aspen content can be launched, bookmarked, and tracked using SCORM. "

"Because of Aspen's support for standards such as SCORM and AICC, and specific integration with third party vendors such as NETg, Smartforce, Skillsoft, Macromedia, and Perception, your content can be easily integrated with the Aspen Learning Management Server."

"The Aspen Learning Experience Server conforms to IMS Packaging specifications, therefore courses created with the Aspen Learning Experience Server Designer can be published to any IMS-compliant system. The system can also be integrated with AICC- compliant learning management systems, which will track courses delivered with the Aspen Learning Experience Server."
