From the Learning Lab:

"The Learning Lab firmly believes that successful use of ICT (Information & Communication Technology) in education and training relies upon technology not only meeting the needs of those using it, but also by enhancing the learning experience."

"Over the course of the past year, the Learning Lab has seen many visitors with a wide variety of queries ranging from 'introducing an Internet-based training programme' into their organisation to 'building a school that is wired for the 21st century'."

"This conference aims to address the issues that are at the very heart of the future of ICT in education and training: for example, how will government policy effect future funding? What primary research is available to substantiate the statistics? What effects will industry standards have on the products we buy?"

"Conference speakers have been selected from industry, academia and government for their expertise in specific fields. Smaller breakout sessions and interactive forums will be opportunities to hear from those who have pioneered changes within their organisations and to find out what obstacles they overcame and how, and demonstration sessions will allow delegates to view presentations of vendors' products. The programme has been carefully put together to ensure that there is something for everyone."

"In addition to the lively conference programme there will be a free exhibition where you can meet and talk to organisations involved in everything from broadband infrastructure to content creation and hardware supplies. A list of exhibitors will be regularly updated on our website."
