9th CETIS Enterprise SIG Meeting / ELF Developers Forum

JISC ELF Developers Forum (Mon 14th March)/ 9th CETIS Enterprise SIG Meeting (Tue 15th March)

Location: Hosted by Adam Marshall, at OUCS (Oxford University Computing Services), Oxford.

Monday March 14th: ELF Developers Forum Agenda

The Developers Forum provides a practial opportunity for e-learning software developers from both commercial and from the academic / oss communities to learn about and implement e-learning standards and specifications. The first ELF Developers Forum will take place at Oxford University (OUCS) on Monday March 14th alongside the CETIS Enterprise SIG. The themes of this session will include enabling existing applications
with IMS enterprise web services, building on previous JISC funded toolkits.

2.00 - 5.00 Codebash session - Using the ELF toolkits in YOUR projects

This is an opportunity to test out the ELF in practice. The session will explore how to use the ELF Toolkits to enable your applications to consume or produce services in the eLearning Framework, with particular focus on IMS Enterprise Webservices. The meeting will be an opportunity for both commercial vendors and the academic OSS community to benefit directly from the ongoing investment in Open Source Software by JISC. Bring your system! CETIS will provide a sandbox server and expert guidance from toolkit authors.
