eLit 2003: Second International Conference on Information and IT Literacy

In the age of print, the ability to read was the key to knowledge. But in a world where IT enables access to vast quantities of information, and interaction with the learning environment, and where eLearning is a growing part of the educational landscape, an expanded range of literacies is required - electronic literacies (eLiteracies).

eLit2003 will focus and reflect on the implementation of learning opportunities enhanced by eLiteracies; on learning and infrastructure support staff; and on the significance of eLiteracies for education.

Sessions which may be of interest include:

  • Wednesday 11th June, 15:0016:05, Information Literacy and Dyslexia: Designing Inclusive Delivery.

  • Wednesday 11th June, 15:0016:05, Accessibility, eLiteracy and Virtual Learning Environments.

Date: from 10 June, 2003 to 12 June, 2003
Venue: Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, Scotland
