Olympus comes to Snowdon: Transforming Teaching and Learning in Wales

Coleg Menai has been working in partnership with Granada Learning on the development of a Welsh Language version of Learnwise Olympus, a new Virtual Learning Environment.

To celebrate the successful completion of the project, seminars and workshops to showcase the bilingual Learnwise Olympus system are being presented. The results of Coleg Menai's JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee)-funded project into learners’ language preferences and learning technologies will also be discussed.

Places are free and are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Workshops which may be of interest include:

  • Wednesday 9th July, 14:00-15:30 - Coleg Menai: Learnwise Interoperability and Bilingual Issues.

  • Wednesday 9th July, 14:00-15:30 - UMIST: Accessibility and Welsh Language Tools.
