Dyslexia and e-Learning
Sharon Perry
October 22, 2003

This TechDis workshop offers an overview of the issues that students with dyslexia may encounter when using e-learning materials, through the discussion of dyslexic learning preferences, styles, skills and abilities. The workshop will also include a hands-on session where delegates will be given the opportunity to investigate various assistive technologies, and their uses with the different types of e-learning resources available. Discussion will also centre around ways of adapting the design and learning interactions to enhance the learners experience.

This workshop is suitable for those developing their own e-learning materials as well as those teaching and/or supporting students with dyslexia who will be studying in an e-learning environment.

Cost Free of charge to all delegates based within or linked to the UK Higher or Further Education sector.
