Enhancing Your Web Pages: Further HTML, CSS and Accessibility

"Accessibilty is rapidly becoming the driving force behind the design considerations for many web sites. This workshop will also investigate some of the fundamental steps required to produce accessible content as well as introducing current guidelines and web standards. This workshop provides a platform from which to make the next step towards more attractive, functional and accessible web content as well as providing a brief overview of some more advanced technologies for web interaction and content management/delivery."

Topics include:

  • Introduction to Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

  • HTML forms - creating a user interface.

  • Common-sense web design.

  • Making web pages accessible to all.

  • Web accessibility standards.

Cost: 125 for participants from UK Higher and Further Education.
