Assistive Technology Conference - Balancing the Equation

This conference will provide a platform for Assistive Technologists and academics with an interest in the role of technology in learner support for students with disabilities or learning differences.

The conference is centred around three main themes:

  • accessing information;

  • engaging with the learning environment;

  • communicating understanding.

Sessions which may be of particular interest include:

  • "Making Online Learning Accessible" by M Cooper, Open University.

  • Workshop: "Dyslexia Friendly:User Friendly - An Inclusive Approach to Accessible Learning Material".
