You are cordially invited to attend the Joint CETIS-TechDis Accessibility SIG and CETIS
Assessment SIG Meeting, which is being held at the
University of Wales Bangor, on Tuesday 27th
June 2006. There is no charge for attending the meeting and lunch will be provided.
The meeting will have the theme of "Accessible Assessment" and will seek to raise the issues,
which still need to be addressed in this area. Although there are several presentations, discussion
will be a major part of this meeting. By holding a joint meeting of assessment and
accessibility enthusiasts, it may be possible that possible solutions to some of the issues
will arise as a result of the discussion and networking sessions.
The agenda will include:
- e-Assessment and Accessibility - TechDis.
Details to be confirmed.
- Future Accessibility Work - Andy Heath, Axelrod Consultancy.
Andy will give a brief overview of future accessibility work and related issues.
- Accessible e-Assessment: Issues and Experiences - John Kleeman,
Questionmark.
As a starting point for the discussion, Questionmark's chairman will describe some
of the issues with making e-assessment accessible.
- Discussion
The issues raised throughout the day and during John Kleeman's session will be
discussed.
