My contract is based at the University of Bolton, but I usually work from home in North Wales.

Biography
Education:
I studied for a BA in Archaeology
and Anthropology from Kings' College, Cambridge, from
1992 to 1995, specialising in Social
Anthropology.
I was awarded a (free!) MA from Cambridge, in 1999.
I received a
Postgraduate Diploma in Information Management (Librarianship) from the
University of Brighton in 2003.
Over the last few years I have been studying part-time for a
Heritage Management MA at the University of Wales Bangor.
I also did a short course on Celebratory Arts (carnivals and parades) with
Same Sky, a community arts group in Brighton, in 2001.
Employment History:
My first job was working on a holiday playscheme for 5 to 11 year old children at Tir Na Nog
Nursery in Bangor, North Wales, which I did from 1990 to 1993.
I have worked in three libraries: Kings' College
library in Cambridge, from 1995 to 1998; The British
Library of Development Studies at Sussex University in Brighton, in 2001; and
Colege Menai Library in Bangor from 1999 to 2000.
I have also worked in heritage. I worked in Sudeley
Castle in the Cotswolds for a few months in 1999, and did my Heritage MA work placement at the
Faenol Estate near Bangor, in 2004.
I taught English GCSE at Coleg Menai, Bangor during 2002 and
2003.
I have been working for CETIS for four and half years. I began
by assisting Sharon Perry with the
Accessibility Special Interest Group, before setting up the Enterprise SIG in Jan 2003.
Interests:
I like writing, reading and going out dancing. I had a short story published by Honno in 2005, and have recently set up an events website for my local area. I'm currently learning belly dancing with Ramona.
