Pedagogy Forum and Assessment SIG Meeting

The sixth meeting of the CETIS Pedagogy Forum was held at Bolton Institute on Wednesday 20 October 2004. This was a joint meeting with the CETIS Assessment SIG (Special Interest Group)

Agenda (word doc) for the meeting. See the List of attendees

The focus of the meeting was Assessment & the educational aspects of Computer Aided Assessment (CAA), and how the use of technical standards can help and hinder both the assessment process itself, and the development of appropriate tools and resources.
There was time set aside for those wishing to discuss the educational aspects and also for those wishing to discuss the more technical aspects of their work and their experiences with the specification IMS Question and Test Interoperability (QTI v2.0) with feedback between the 2 groups. A debate-style panel session and general discussion was also included.

Notes from the meeting are available (word doc)
