Archicecture of game spaces
This was good fun - coming as it did - soon after my presentation in Oslo where I used Alexander's pattern language and urban planning concepts in relation to educational technology. Jill Walker at Bergen describes a presentation she attended which applied pattern languages to game environments, especially World of Warcraft. Interesting stuff.
Jill has always been one of my favourite bloggers, writing on topic like games, narratives, and online identity. Its unfortunate that the worlds of gaming and e-learning rarely overlap enough for me to find a pretext to link to her blog!
