Minimal authoring environment
I'm using a new tool called WriteRoom. There is a PC version called DarkRoom, which is actually a more apt name for the experience.
It removes all distractions from writing.
It has no GUI, just green text on a big, black screen (on a MacBook Pro, this is actually rather impressive, oddly enough).
I don't know why, but it is strangely compelling to write in such an environment. Hence this post.
