Jorum+
Jorum+ is funded under Strand B X4L and from JISC IE funding.
The project commenced on 1st October 2002 and is due to end in July 2005.
It is a joint project between the JISC-funded national data centres,
EDINA and MIMAS, and CETIS, and is working closely with
consultants active in the online learning field.
Jorum+ will:
- provide a provisional collecting repository for the content of JISC 5/99 and X4L Strand A projects from early February 2003, using the intraLibrary and Xtensis learning object repository software systems
- scope the needs of the long-term repository service that will form part of the JISC's
Information Environment, in collaboration with CETIS
- provide test-bed facilities for a development bay to allow the successful re-purposing of extant content in X4L
- provide support services for X4L and 5/99 project staff, in collaboration with CETIS
